A luxurious linen guest towel, fingertip size, made in Madeira, Portugal by the Marghab Linens Co. during the mid 20th century. The hand embroidered design was called Wreath and Ribbon and was worked in blue cotton thread on a white Irish linen cloth. Marghab used Irish linen as the ground cloth on all their products. The company was known for producing the most luxurious hand embroidered linens from 1933 through the mid 1980s and their products are still highly sought after today.
