Our Newberry furniture collection recalls the romantic British colonial style popular throughout the world from the 16th to 18th centuries. The genteel look was relaxed and well-traveled with furniture silhouettes rendered in stained rattan, tropical timbers, and bamboo. Handmade of sturdy natural rattan with striking fretwork details, the Newberry Hall Tree is hand finished to capture the rich tortoise shell patina that once defined colonial furniture from exotic, faraway places like Africa, India, and the West Indies. Ten bamboo-style pegs hold coats, keys, and packs, and surround a generous mirror where you can check your look before heading out. Three fixed wooden storage shelves feature two open bamboo-style rings with protective coating to hold umbrellas in the entryway or mudroom. Two round, rust-resistant metal trays beneath the rings catch drips and remove for easy cleaning. Newberry Hall Tree features:
