Created by the multidisciplinary, Madrid-based Mayice Studio, the silhouette of this piece reflects its name as a sculptural and textured glass shade surrounds a natural wood veneer shade. Focused on product design and architecture, this design studio has made a piece that transforms when illuminated, revealing the variations found within wooden veneers and playing with the way light travels along concave and convex glass forms.
