Gem Led Linear Suspension

Inspired by the ancient abacus, the Gem LED Linear Suspension by Ridgely Studio is a sculptural creation from Toronto-based designer Zac Ridgely. A hand-blown opal glass diffuser mimics the diamond shape of a counting bead, lending an elegant touch to this simple and contemporary piece. Surrounded by blueprints and creativity as a child, the influence of growing up with an architect can be found in this design as it blends beautiful materials with a love of light.
