This rare stately 18th century oak cupboard is from the Wales region of Great Britain and is composed of three shelves with rails for placing plates across the top. The bottom of the dresser is comprised of three long drawers as well as a two uncommon short drawers on a classic base which provides a lower shelf giving it a beautiful line. Other features include peg construction, original block feet, brass pulls, turned spindles and dove tailed drawers with hand carved bone escutcheons. It is of a very desirable diminutive size- not too big, not too small. Eight inch plates are displayed here.
