Early 19th century Welsh oak dresser with crown molding gracing the top of the cabinet over a scalloped and hand carved decorated apron. It has three shelves which are flanked by scalloped sides. The top sits atop the base, which has paneled sides and three drawers at the top, over three false drawer fronts, flanked by paneled doors with inlaid fan decoration, which open to reveal storage. The cabinet has gorgeous hand turned columns on the outsides of the doors. Beneath the doors is a scalloped skirt and slightly splayed bracket feet in the front, and simple legs in the back for easy placement against a wall. The serving height is 35.75 inches.
