This wonderful box is raised by four toupie shaped feet supporting the body of the box decorated by intricately carved linear patterns. At the center is a large scale foliate band, which wraps around the box and conceals the keyhole. An elegant mottled band with scalloped designs frames exceptional Pietra Dura marble lid depicting a floral bloom.
