Italian faience from the 1940s. A neoclassic scene of the happy papa coming home from war to meet his infant son. Clad in armor, with helmet and shield on the ground, the noble wife and child decorate the lid, and garlands swagged around the walls. Handmade faience and hand-colored with ITALY written on the bottom. The size is 5.15" long by 3.5" deep. height is 2.5" Very clean, good condition, no cracks, no chips. INV.- SFB -#3
