Drawing inspiration from the time-honored suribachi, a traditional Japanese mortar, a designer mortar emerges as part of the innovative Sitaku collection. Crafted in collaboration with prominent Japanese designer Makoto Koizumi for porcelain producer Kihara, this collection presents an array of stackable tools. Among them, this set features a locally crafted maple pestle boasting an unglazed interior texture, evoking the essence of the classical Japanese suribachi mortar.
