Designer Philippe Malouin’s interpretation of the familiar coffee maker pays tribute to the industrial esthetic that often appears in his own work. The screw-shaped water boiler hints at metal parts found in scrapyards as well as the physical twisting motion used to fasten the upper and lower parts of the pot together. Made from aluminum and thermoplastic resin, the Vite espresso maker is also suitable for use on induction hobs.
