The trolley features a sculptural wooden frame with beautifully curved and shaped lines, typical of Italian design of the period. Its dynamic triangular structure gives the piece a very light and modern appearance. It is fitted with two glass shelves: – a clear top glass shelf – a lower shelf with a decorative etched lattice pattern. The structure is completed by chromed metal rods and original caster wheels that allow easy movement. This type of trolley was designed for serving drinks or as a mobile side table and today is highly appreciated as a decorative mid-century design piece. Period: 1950s Attributed to: Cesare Lacca Materials: wood, glass, chromed metal Condition: good vintage condition with minor age-related wear. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
