Handmade 19th-century work table (“mesa tocinera”) in solid walnut, designed with two hinged drop leaves to expand the work surface. The table includes two drawers and a robust underframe with hand-turned legs and feet. The construction is characterized by traditional joinery: the drawers are described as hand-assembled with dovetail joints (at the back and at the front). The leaves are supported in the open position by handmade wrought iron brackets that act as swing-out cantilever supports. Intended as a utilitarian work surface for food preparation and domestic tasks, this piece reflects workshop craftsmanship and practical design typical of 19th-century household furniture.
