Perfectly functional or collectible, this popular high-quality Kershaw Pocket Knife is accented with a handle of sealed spalted beech wood (a natural fungi-based transformation prized for its unique pattern and dark veins). Harvested in Denmark, the handsome dried wood is shaped, ground, polished and assembled by artisans in Santa Fe, New Mexico and applied to the factory-new knife. A stylishly sharp and practical gift! About the Kershaw Leek-style Knife Closed, the Leek Knife is 4" long-perfect for carrying in a pocket. The 3" straight-edge blade is fashioned from corrosion-resistant stainless steel (14C28N) for good edge retention, easy resharpening, and excellent toughness. The reverse side includes a stainless steel clip that easily attaches to outer pockets or can be used as a money clip. The pocket clip may also be removed with the use of a T-6 hex allen wrench. Made in the USA. About the Kershaw SpeedSafe Assisted Opening System The Leek series features Kershaw's SpeedSafe opening system for smooth, easy opening by both right and left-handed users. It is specifically designed for sporting and work situations where one-handed opening is preferable and safer, but allows all ease of use in all everyday tasks.
