Pair of lamp finials crafted from hand polished graffiti paint, reclaimed from public areas which have been repeatedly painted by muralists and street artists. Reminiscent of Fordite, or Detroit agate, they are mounted on knurled brass bases sized to fit a standard-size lamp harp with a 1/4" stem. Using lapidary techniques, we cut, shape, and polish the graffiti material, which is then set in wood and lacquered under high gloss resin.
