Vintage metal lampshade finial in the form of a columnar post with a cross arrow, including some chippy dark burgundy red paint that was likely added at some later point. It does appear to have a gold brass finish underneath, and could likely be stripped back to brass if so desired. This is the ideal form to top off a vintage bouillotte candle base lamp! Would also be great for other classic traditional lamp styles, or even for a more whimsical lamp. Finial stands 4 3/8" tall and arrow width is 3.25" across. Likely circa 1960s - early 1970s. We have another nearly identical finial in our Home Lab shop, with a simple brass tone finish.
