Mid-century Fulvio Bianconi for Venini hurrican lamp using fasce ritorte technique, with applied teal, red, and blue spiraled cannes on transparent heavy walled glass. The base has three arced slots for fitting atop a candle holder, which is no longer available. Bianconi (1915-1996) designed this piece in the 1950s but it is unsigned. There is a small flaw during the laying of one canne but no chips or cracks.
