A carved and gilded wood altar stick converted to a lamp. The shaft is carved with vertical fluting and a band of leaves at the mid-section. The base is a tapered plinth with an oval carved medallion on each face, sitting on three scroll feet. The original paint and gilt surface shows heavy age throughout.
