Antique original 19th century French gilt bronze ormolu angel cupid lamp with its original onyx base. Having sharp realistic details (see images) with rich gold ormolu patina ( the patina/gilt gold is original and now naturally tarnished and shows light wear consistent with age) . Very exquisite in every way so much so that you can actually feel the loving expression on the nude angel's face and the fold marks on the cloth around his body ( all solid bronze). Note the very high quality onyx base with all the vibrant deep colors in the stone .
