Exceptional art deco lamp depicting a "ball dancer" typical of the 1930s in the style of max le verrier. The spelter figure features typical art deco shapes, hairstyle, and clothing. The dancer, made of spelter, holds two balls in her hands. The base is decorated with a thick frosted glass plate with raised geometric and floral motifs. This lamp is illuminated by a bulb fixed behind the glass plate, diffusing a soft light! the entire piece rests on a rectangular, faceted spelter base with a golden patina. Note a tiny chip on the left corner of the plate.
