Pair of large modelled, ball shaped lamp shade finials with metallic black glaze. (there is a smaller size available) These ceramic finials were first hand-formed in clay and then, I made a mold. Each one is slip cast from the original mold, painted and glazed by hand. The finish is shiny pewter-black metallic. The look is modern primitive, simple yet expressive. These little gems are carefully made and one of a kind. I've included some comparison shots. these are the larger of my round shapes. They say it's all in the details.
