Cast brass four burner Lucerne oil lamp on a cast threaded rod. The rod is topped with an open shield form finial and is treaded to a conical centered circular base with standing rim, drip pan. The font is supported by an adjustable sliding knob and covered with a sliding urn form cover and wick implements on hanging brass chain. The prominent edges of the urn, font cover, knob support and circular base are all edges with a fine brass beading. Italy, circa 1790.
