Cast brass single burner Lucerne oil lamp. The lamp is supported by an adjustable sliding brass knob on a brass rod threaded to a scolloped edge base with standing rim, drip pan, and topped with a hand threaded brass finial. The single spout is fitted with its original adjustable brass defector shade and three wick implements suspended on brass link chains. The font is removable from the stand with a curved brass handle with animal head terminal. Italy, circa 1790.
