Hermès carries his lighted torch in this spelter metal lamp from the late 19th century. The statue has a satin frost etched Greek key pattern lamp shade. Details on the lamp are embellished with gilt highlights. Sits atop a black marble base. In Greek mythology, Hermes is one of the gods of Olympus.
