This lamp was created in England approx. 1870. It was made by the most famous Glass House in their country and the world for that matter. F & C Osler made cut glass monuments and all kinds of priceless items for Kings and Queens. They were known to be better than even Baccarat as their items were not machine made. The cutting is by hand, please look closely. It is absolutely stunning. 2 piece, the dome rests on 3 bronze arms that come out from the central shaft. The metal bronze parts I believe were once gilt/gold bronze and with the proper cleaning could be gold tone again. Lots of history here and in impeccable condition. This came in from India and was probably exported there a long time ago it was taken care of very well. The lamp will be professionally wired for the new buyer. A lamp of this caliber would retail for approx. 18,000$.
