This is a museum-grade example of late 19th-century Victorian artistry. This finger lamp features a rare Blue Satin Uranium Glass font—a color significantly scarcer than the traditional yellow-green Vaseline glass. Under standard lighting, it presents a soft, velvety "Robin’s Egg Blue" or sky-blue finish. Under UV light, it exhibits a bright neon green fluorescence, confirming high uranium oxide content. The font is expertly hand-blown with a vertical ribbed design and a perfectly intact frosted applied glass handle. The base retains its original snapped pontil mark. Unlike many surviving examples, this piece is in near-mint condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and the satin finish remains beautifully consistent.
