Vintage "Glow Lamp" designed by Ruth Gerth, produced by Chase Brass & Copper Co. in the 1930s. Featuring an orb copper body paired with a conical copper clip shade. Accented by a brass finial on top and a brass rotary on/off switch on the side.. Stamped “Chase USA” on the underside of the base. This lamp (in chrome) is in the Cooper Hewitt Museum’s permanent collection, a tribute to its impact on the American Modernist movement.
