Our Rail Road lanterns are a piece of history. Each lantern was portable and able to operate manually with a glass window for red and green signals. The operators would move signals as needed in their zone. This allowed for improved safety. The lanterns are mostly black, and the paint is chipped and shows wear. The internal glass is in good shape, clear, red, and green panels for the various functions are in good condition, Internal oil lantern seems intact. 36" tall x 11" wide x 9" deep front glass is 6".
