Made in Brazil in the 1970s of rare wood. This chair is sculptural, ergonomically designed as was designed to be light-weight for shipping from Brazil. Perfect for a third floor loft space, as the chair can be deconstructed and folded for lightweight moving, pegs on the exterior of the chair screw in for permanence, or conversely unscrew to allow deconstruction. Chair will fold nearly flat as will the ottoman. Constructed of very dense/hard Jatoba Cherry Wood, which is like rosewood in appearance. Very striking in a sparse space.
