A wonderfully redone vintage 1960’s Eero Saarinen for Knoll Womb chair and ottoman. It has been reupholstered in a beautiful Knoll fabric designed by Nick Cave called Garden Vert. From the knoll website: Designed by artist Nick Cave, Vert is a striking, multicolored upholstery with distinctive lines that direct the eye. It’s woven primarily from post-consumer recycled polyester and post-industrial recycled cotton to help reduce fiber waste. Content: 35% Post-Consumer Recycled Polyester, 32% Post-Industrial Recycled Cotton, 20% Rayon, 13% Polyester The upholsterer retained the original label which is the Knoll 320 Park Avenue label which dates it to the 1960’s. The chair is in good condition although there are some rust spots to the very bottom of one leg and some of the ottoman legs. There is also some paint missing. The fabric has some light soiling overall from use but nothing egregious. Please see the detailed photos. Ottoman dimensions are approximately 25x18.5 inches and 17 inches tall.
