This is a black leather lounge chair and ottoman with bentwood walnut shell/frame and chromed metal bases with chromed metal foot pads , the chair swivels and has a spring control for rocking. Designed in the manner of the Eames lounge chair (designed by Charles and Ray Eames), this example has the rocking mechanism that the others didn't provide which helps with comfort for taller people. The back is bent wood and is very comfortable, the chair swivels and reclines back. The ottoman is stationary (no swivel or adjustments). The chair does not have a maker’s mark. Attributed to Selig, based on the construction of the chair. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Minor issue on ottoman that can be seen when the light hits it right (see pic); missing paint on the rear support between the seat and back on the chair (see pic). The chrome bases have some spots of shine loss typical for older chrome.
