The concept behind le bambole revolves around the idea of reducing the sofa to its essential form - a cushion. Just like dressmaking, the precise geometry of stitches and covers defines the chair's shape. Its distinctive appearance made it a part of a controversial publicity campaign created by photographer oliver toscani.
