Made in Italy, 1940s. This piece is realized following the model of the armchair designed by Giò Ponti for a cover of the magazine "Stile", a magazine of the 40s founded by Gio Ponti on architecture . This model is quite rare and was probably commissioned by Giò Ponti himself or realized following the magazine project. The structure and the upholstery of both the ottoman and the lounge chair are in good original condition, but the fabric is old. It's not the original fabric: it is probably a 70s fabric. This lounge chair is a vintage piece, therefore it might show slight traces of use, but it can be considered as in very good original condition. The fabric needs to be changed. Armchair: Width: 75 cm Depth: 89 cm Height: 91 cm Ottoman: Width: 59 cm Depth: 40 cm Height: 36 cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
