Black Leather T-Chair By Katavolos, Littell, & Kelley For Laverne International, 1950s

William Katavolos, together with Douglas Kelley & Ross Littell, designed the iconic model 3LC or T-chair for Laverne International in 1952. The T-chair is exhibited in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. On this chair, the black deck-dyed leather of the seat, which is natural brown on the back, is attached to a chromed tubular steel frame constructing an unusual three-legged chair. Leather with some scratches and patina, steel frame with age-related marks and wear. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
