Borge Mogensen The Spanish Chair

The Spanish Chair was designed after Borge Mogensen's trip to Spain, where he drew inspiration from their traditional furniture design and modernized the shape to create a timeless design in which form follows function. Mogensen's design marries the charm of vintage leather with a bold geometric frame, and the distinctively broad armrests allow users to rest their cups and glasses negating the need for side tables. In doing so, he achieved a more open and informal space for relaxing and conversing.
