Brutalist lounge chair designed by Sonja Wasseur in the 1970s. The chair features a black lacquered oak wooden frame with saddle leather details and leather upholstered cushions. The backrest is adjustable and can be placed in various positions. All furniture by Sonja Wasseur was handmade and produced in very small numbers in her Studio in Amsterdam. The chairs are authentic and can not be compared with any other chair from this period of time. The brutalist design is unmistakably recognizable in all of her work. We have a matching chair available. Both acquired from the first owner. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
