Danish Carved Lounge Chair in Green Velvet, 1920s. A rare and gorgeous antique armchair in a rich dark green velour. Jacquard woven seat with floral motifs. Wide scalloped back and richly carved oak armrests. Made by master carpenter in Denmark in the 1920s. Known as the “Skønvirke” style, which is a parallel style to Art Noveau, Jugend and Arts and Crafts. This lounge chair offers both beautiful expressive details and great comfort. The chair remain in very good condition with firm springs. The fabric is also in good condition as the chairs have been reupholstered in recent years.
