Danish lounge chair designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen in the 1950s. This chair was manufactured by Komfort. The lounge chair has an oak frame with teak armrests. The upholstery is a typical Danish striped wool fabric. The seat has been restored and is therefore in very nice vintage condition. The wood has been sanded and treated with a hardwax oil, making it pleasant to the touch. The webbing has been replaced, as has the foam, while retaining the original upholstery. A crack in the wood has been expertly repaired and is barely visible (see last photos). There are also a few very small stains on the fabric that are barely noticeable. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
