Part of Bertoia’s 1952 wire collection for Knoll. The shell is formed from bent and welded steel rods, creating a geometric grid that combines strength and lightness. This version is fitted with a full upholstered cover in yellow fabric, adding softness and volume while maintaining the clarity of the original wire structure. The angled base supports the curved shell and provides a relaxed seating position. The chair remains in its original vintage condition. The frame shows wear consistent with its age and regular use. As shown in the photos, the upholstery displays some fading and a few stains. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
