This chair is a great design. It screams Dorothy Draper to me for it integrates classical elements with modern design. The basis of my Attribution is structural(box spring) and design elements which point to Draper. Draper has been docuemented as having worked for Ficks Reed. The most glaring design attribute are the streamlined curved bundled and tied arms that resemble a Roman fascis bundle without the axe. They taper down to the front in a curve. Then on the back legs they flare out. There is alot of bamboo reeding which was wrapped with paper to give it a wicker look. The new cushion sides are blush integrated with Tommy Bahama fabric. Broad leaves! Along with the narrow white piping. Color full! Now to point out the metal coiled spring + box spring it has for the seat cushion. This is Ficks Reed construction. I have a pair of Ficks Reed chairs 1940s same box spring. The curators for the site want all the deets on my Attribution. Ciao bella. NO LABEL
