The ‘David’ lounge chair, designed by Odile Mir and produced by Delmas for Prisunic in 1972, is as much architecture as it is seating. Created during Mir’s brief but visionary tenure at Delmas as part of the ‘Filo’ collection, this piece is among the few realized works by the self-taught French sculptor—who approached furniture with the precision of an artist and the instincts of an engineer.
