German Prototype Chair Attributed To Albert Haberer, 1950s

Chairish

$14,991

A rare prototype easy chair designed by Albert Haberer in the 1950s, Germany. Only three of these chairs were ever created, and this particular piece originated from Haberer's personal residence. Ultimately, the design was never put into production, adding to its exclusivity. The chair’s handmade craftsmanship is evident, making it a truly unique piece. Constructed from leather, wood, and green fabric, it is in good condition, though the foam of the seat cushions should be replaced due to losing its form over time. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
