This fantastic shell chair with backrest and seat in walnut veneer on a base of soap treated oak is a 2015 re-issue by GETAMA of the classic chair designed by Hans Wegner in 1948. While the original design had teak in the seat and back the use of walnut provides for a modern touch and great decorative flair.Hans Wegner was a house-architect for GETAMA for more than a decade and GETAMA has continued to produce many of his designs.
