The Kolho lounge chair by Made by Choice is based on opposites: the “chaos” of the curvy, serpent-like frame and “reason”, represented by the simple flat seat. Designed by Matthew Day Jackson, the chair is named after the Finnish village of Kolho in which the collaboration with Made by Choice was initially born. According to the designer and artist, the plywood chair was also inspired by the Apollo landing. The Kolho lounge chair is crafted at Made by Choice’s factory in Halikko, Finland.
