Chairish

$2,139

Rare pair of Scandinavian modern lounge chairs designed by Åke Fribytter for Nelo Kroken, Sweden, in the 1960s. These elegant armchairs feature sculptural bent beech wood frames paired with original black leather upholstery, creating a refined balance between comfort and architectural Nordic design. The flowing bentwood construction and suspended leather seating are characteristic of high-quality Scandinavian craftsmanship from the mid-century era. Their organic modern silhouette makes them ideal for mid-century modern, Danish modern, minimalist, or contemporary interiors. An iconic and highly collectible Swedish design pair, both retaining original manufacturer markings. Dimensions: Height: 79 cm / 31.1 in Seat Height: 39 cm / 15.4 in Width: 63 cm / 24.8 in Depth: 68 cm / 26.8 in Condition: Very good original vintage condition with minor signs of use and age. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
