Chairish

$3,370

Armchair alcove designer: erwan bouroullec und ronan bouroullec year: design 2006, production 2012 manufacturer: vitra country: germany measurements: h 83 cm w 83 cm d 84 cm sh 40 cm material: wooden panels lightly upholstered, seat upholstery fabric-covered, upholstery fabric yellow, steel base, 4 loose cushions, fabric-covered. Condition: good original condition special remarks: slight traces of wear. Original design of the alcove armchair, labeled from below with a sticker designed by erwan + ronan bouroullec and vitra, produced in 2012. In 2021, the alcove was completely revised. Our piece is entirely original, upholstered in a friendly, coarsely textured bright yellow fabric. There are very slight signs of wear on all sides on the fabric and a tiny hole in the head area, which can certainly be made completely invisible with a plastic stuffer, you can hardly see it anyway because the smallest pillow is in front of it. the basic idea of the alcove family, security and retreat, applies in a special way to the alcove highback sofa. With less high panels, the comfortable alcove sofa invites open, dynamic communication - or is simply the place to read, discuss or take a break. Microarchitecture in space, this is how the bouroullec brothers call their exciting design alcove. Our example with the low backrest is very different from the usual armchairs. The loose cushions are charming and increase the seating comfort considerably. Our copy comes from an exhibition and shows only a few signs of wear. this piece has an attribution mark, i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
