The Mademoiselle Lounge Chair is made from solid birch and was specifically developed for the home.‎ Crafted using an age-old construction method, the spoke back contrasts strikingly with the smooth modernist curves of the seat’s softly rounded edge.‎ In creating the Mademoiselle, designer Ilmari Tapiovaara drew inspiration from traditional Finnish chairs, then applied his own modern design approach.‎ Also available as a rocking chair.‎Legs, seat and back: Solid birchMademoiselle Lounge Chair is available in black or white.‎
