The original and highly coveted modern hand chair was designed in Mexico by surrealist artist Pedro Friedeberg. Those chairs, handcraft from wood are extremely expensive. In the 1960's and 70's a less expensive alternative, a molded plastic hand chair, became quite popular. You can find these vintage lovelies in many colors.
