This pair of lounge chairs by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin features bentwood oak frames with the clean continuous curves and honest material expression that defined Baughman's best work of the period. The frame construction, with its broad flat arms and squared bentwood legs, has an architectural solidity that holds up well against the original burgundy wool upholstery. Both frames are in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Each chair measures 27 inches wide by 23.5 inches deep by 30 inches tall with a seat height of 18.5 inches. The upholstery shows some pilling consistent with age and these would really shine with updated upholstery, structurally intact and solid. Please see all available photographs and consider them as part of the item description.
