The sculptural Warren Platner Easy Lounge Chair was first introduced in 1966 for Knoll, Inc. It's cocoon seat is coupled with a sculptural wire base comprised of hundreds of slender nickel steel rods curving upward from a singular base, resembling an inverted sheath of wheat. It's designed to feel luxurious and enveloping without compromising comfort. The rare pair of chairs were manufactured by Knoll in the 1980's. The black wool upholstery is also by Knoll and is in beautiful shape. The Knoll labels on the padding underneath were removed in a previous fabric recovery, but the original Knoll foam is still intact. No rips, tears, or stains. Ready to use now, or recover in your own choice of fabric. Chair is unmarked. Height (in): 38¾; Width (in): 40; Depth (in): 37; Weight (lbs): 37; Seat Height (in): 18¾
