Take away the cushion to reveal an intricate web of weaved caning that creates a sturdy base for both the seat and back rest of the chair. Gorgeous, dark wood with a beautiful patina creates the base of the structure. "ASR 128" and "ASR 108" stenciled into each chair respectively, telling a story of what building the chairs were designated for.
